The story
The brief was to strip the existing established Ford dealership building back to shell and transform it into separate, high-specification showrooms for Ford and Omoda, each finished to its own manufacturer specification. The project involved the complete internal strip-out of the existing building back to shell, followed by significant structural alterations to reconfigure the space and accommodate dual-brand showroom environments. Works also included a comprehensive roof refurbishment, ensuring the building envelope was upgraded to meet current performance standards.
The roof was refurbished in full to bring the building envelope up to current performance standards. A complete M&E installation followed with lighting, ventilation and services coordination across large open-plan areas, designed to meet the demands of a contemporary car showroom environment. The project required careful sequencing and coordination to achieve a clean, modern finish while working within the constraints of an existing structure. Delivered over 22 weeks, the scheme demonstrates our ability to transform large commercial spaces into high-performance, customer-focused environments through efficient planning, strong project management, and high-quality execution.
