To respond to your enquiry. When you contact us through the form, we use your details to reply to you and to discuss your project. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, and where relevant, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

To send you our newsletter. If you opt in, we use your name and email address to send updates, tips and industry news. Our lawful basis is your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by contacting us.

To run and secure our website. We use anonymised analytics and standard server information to keep the site working, understand how it is used and protect it against misuse. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in maintaining a safe, functional website.

We will never sell your personal information, and we will never use it for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

Who we share your information with

We do not sell or trade your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run our business, and only to the extent they need it to provide their service. These are:

Sanity, our content management system, where contact form submissions are stored.
Brevo (Sendinblue SAS), our email platform, which we use to manage newsletter subscriptions, send newsletters, and deliver contact form enquiries to our inbox.
Vercel, our website hosting and cookieless analytics provider.

Each of these providers acts as a processor on our behalf and is bound by a contract requiring them to keep your information secure and to use it only as instructed.

We may also disclose your information if required to do so by law, or to protect our rights, property or safety.

International transfers

Some of our service providers may process your information outside the UK. Where this happens, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement, so that your information receives a similar level of protection to that required under UK law.

How long we keep your information

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it.

Contact enquiries: kept for up to 24 months after our last contact, so we can follow up and keep a record of the conversation, then deleted.
Newsletter subscriptions: kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you, after which your details are deleted from our mailing list.
Analytics data: held in aggregated, anonymised form only, and not tied to you.

Cookies and analytics

We have deliberately kept this website light on tracking.

We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not use cookies to track you across other websites.

For website analytics we use Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless. It stores nothing on your device and does not collect information that identifies you personally. It counts visits using aggregated, anonymised signals only, and any temporary visit identifier is discarded within 24 hours. Because it sets no cookies and collects no personal data, it does not require your consent.

This website may use a small number of strictly necessary cookies that are essential for it to function and to keep it secure. These do not track you and, under UK law, do not require consent.

If we introduce any non-essential cookies in future, such as additional analytics or marketing tools, we will ask for your consent through a cookie banner before any are set, and we will update this policy to describe them.

Separately, when we send newsletters through Brevo, those emails may include standard email measurement, such as whether the email was opened or a link was clicked. This is part of the email itself rather than this website, and is covered by the consent you give when you subscribe. You can opt out at any time by unsubscribing.
