The story
Church Street, Ormskirk is a multi-phase residential development comprising five individual blocks. Phase one (Block A) is valued at £1.9m. The full five-phase development totals £10.7m. It is a project that demands as much programme management as it does construction capability.
Nolan has been appointed as Principal Contractor for the full development, taking responsibility from groundworks through to final fit-out across all five phases. The structural solution is a modern steel frame system (SFS) with composite deck floors – designed to be efficient, robust, and well-suited to a programme running multiple workstreams in parallel.
Each phase is beingplanned and executed to maintain programme continuity across the wider site, ensuring safe and efficient delivery within a live, multi-block environment. Each block is carefully sequenced with groundworks and reinforced concrete foundations, full SFS superstructure installation, external envelope, then comprehensive internal fit-out including all M&E, finishes and final detailing. The project demonstrates Nolan’s capability to manage and deliver large-scale, phased developments, maintaining control, quality, and programme certainty across multiple concurrent workstreams
